Quran Memorization Charitable Trust (QMCT) is a Tanzania-based Trust with its headquarters at Vikindu town located a few kilometres from Dar es Salaam. It is a Non-Profit Making organization with a mission of supporting the community in the areas of Education and Health. Islamic theqaaf (ethics) and therefore Muslem prosperity on this planet and hereafter depend entirely on how the generation/children are brought up.
In its newly stages it begun as Darul-Quran (Centre for Quran Studies and Memorizing). The plan though was to offer a combined approach of nurturing students with both religious studies for aqeedah and secular studies for mastering the environment. This was stationed at Dar es Salaam in the year 2002. Darul Quran later grew to form Ibn Jazary Islamic Centre at Victoria in 2006. Then the QMCT management secured a huge area of land at Vikindu just off Dar es Salaam City which triggered the growth plans and therefore the centre was moved to Vikindu town Coastal Region.
Vikindu; the Nursery, Primary & Secondary School schools were opened two years later [2008]. The EIC Management mobilized resources once again and managed to raise the Health Centre for taking care of our students, staffs as well as the community around.
Provide Qur'an recitation, memorization and adherence as a tool for Islamic studies and guidance to other knowledge. Ibun Jazar prepares students to perform well in Qur'an recitation.
Provide updated and quality circular education by integrating Islamic principles in the curriculum which emphasis on ideology, morality to install Proper Behaviour.
There is easy accessibility to online help in terms of online teachers and online forums. Teachers can be contacted with the help of video chats and e-mails.
Great mind resides in healthy body. Our School has a health center that offers medical check-ups and medications all to ensure students are healthy and able to attend all school programmes.

QMCT works on promoting religious awareness, developing mosques and Quranic Centres and uplifting the livelihoods of the people in the community in the areas of health, education etc.
